Edward R. Murrow Would Be Proud

The Bay Citizen
The Bay Area has a lot of things to be proud of: its leadership in tech fields, its first class universities, its flourishing arts scene, and of course, the great outdoors. But we’ve always had a little bit of an inferiority complex when it comes to news. Plenty of locals retreat to the New York or LA Times when they’re looking for “real” journalism. Local investor extraordinaire Warren Hellman is helping to change that by backing the new non-profit Bay Citizen. It’s an online Bay Area news source dedicated to quality journalism and original, nonpartisan reporting. It’s off to a good start after launching earlier this year with Editor in Chief Jonathan Weber (a veteran of The Industry Standard) and CEO Lisa Frazier (a former partner at McKinsey & Company). As a native Bay Area resident I’m glad to say FINALLY, we have a quality news source to fill an important and surprising void that we’ve had for far too long.

Only after reading this announcement, I thought exactly the same thing I always ask to explore new blogs and forums. All I think about it? Precisely how does it feel? This and other posts on his blog here no doubt give some tips to think. Finally ended up here through Yahoo when the first scene some research online for some courses that I am. In general, the time browsing through large and I hope to continue to write new messages. Cheers Very helpful article. I just found your site and the need to say that I particularly liked the study of their messages. Any way I’ll be subscribing to your feed, and I hope to publish more soon after.
