Paving in Building 592/Granary Area: - Paving in the 592 Building area will continue this week. Specifically, our GC will be paving between buildings 592 and 590 this week. The GC will maintain a pedestrian access to the 592 building during this work, but please be careful when walking in this area. The area in front of Building E by the granary will also be paved this week, one half at a time so access will be preserved throughout. Please be careful when driving in this area this week.

Our General Contractor plans to continue paint the exterior and install drywall on the interior this week. - Site safety and additional information
The construction project within our community has been accident free to date. In order to maintain a safe environment, we need everyone’s participation. Here are some things you can do to help:
- Drive Slowly in the community - Do not exceed the 15 mph speed limit, during construction hours we recommend 5 mph or slower.
- Follow the directions of flagpersons. Do not drive or walk around them and the equipment they are directing especially when directed to stop.
- Do not walk under large equipment or equipment carrying loads of material; if possible choose an alternate route away from equipment or simply wait until it passes by you.
- Walk on sidewalks instead of the street.
- Do not tailgate large trucks or pieces of equipment; maintain a safe distance of at least 10 feet. Remember if the truck has mirrors and you cannot see them, they cannot see you.
- Use the mirrors at blind corners to check oncoming traffic.
- Do not park in fire lanes. In case of an emergency the lanes need to be clear for emergency personnel.
- Do not enter the fenced construction areas at any time.
Mansion Grove management and our General Contractor are taking the following steps to help with the flow of traffic and people around the community:
- Providing flagpersons for all large equipment moving in and around the community to direct traffic and pedestrians.
- Delaying the movement and delivery of large equipment until after 8:30 am with minor exceptions due to logistical constraints.
- Supplying construction materials on a “just in time” basis to avoid larger deliveries and storage of materials on the property.
- Installing stop signs and mirrors to assist in navigating blind corners.
- Installing speed bumps to slow traffic.
- Coordinating with the Fire, Police and City Planning Departments for emergency planning and preparation and daily site safety inspections
Please check surface parking spaces for “No Parking” notifications as vehicles blocking construction will be towed at the owner’s expense. Please note that anticipated completion dates are based upon the information we have at this time and are subject to change based upon a number of factors outside our control. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to your and your family.
We have limited our contractor to only work between the hours of 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday and 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday in order to minmize the impact on our current residents; however, some impact is unavoidable. Please note that on days when there are large concrete pours our equipment will be set up slightly before 8:00 AM in preparation for beginning work at 8:00 AM.
We are most grateful for your cooperation with us during this project.
Regards,
Heather Farquhar
General Manager
